General Theatre Maker!

Mollie has participated in the theatre, both onstage and behind the scenes, from a very young age. As a member of the prestigious Metropolitan Opera Children's Chorus from ages 7-14, Mollie had a hands-on experience working at one of the grandest theatrical institutions in the world. She performed onstage in numerous operas such as La Bohème, Hansel & Gretel, and Carmen. After retiring from the Children's Chorus, Mollie continued her vocal studies at Manhattan School of Music Precollege under the tutelage of Hilda Harris. Mollie's passion for acting was ignited as well, and she acted everywhere from Shakespeare Theatre Company to Calhoun Summer Shakespeare to her college, Sarah Lawrence. Favorite roles include Cassius in Julius Caesar, Sophie in Two Cents Plain, and #2 in The Wolves. Mollie has also stage managed countless productions at Sarah Lawrence, including Glimpse -- a multimedia devised production rooted in kundalini yoga practice -- as well as Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet (upcoming) with longtime student theatre company Women's Naked Shakespeare as their resident stage manager. Mollie has also dipped her toes into directing and devising; Death/Play just went up with Sarah Lawrence in early March, for which Mollie served as both collaborator/deviser and stage manager. Fittingly, Mollie returned to The Met stage last year to understudy the featured acting role of Germont's Daughter in Michael Mayer's celebrated production of La Traviata. She is looking forward to acting with The Met again when it is able to reopen.
